Many times, I recall things that upset me long ago. I vividly remember that when I was going through the upset, it held me in a vice-like grip. It affected me both psychologically and physiologically.
However, when I think of those upsets now and how I was impacted by them, I feel almost amused. Having traveled far from that time, these upsets seem to have acquired almost a comical character.
This tells us that the upsets that we are going through now will, indeed, acquire a comical character in some time. Till that time, we need to manage the impact of those upsets on us. We need the forbearance to withstand the provocation. A coat of Teflon would be in order, I think!
